SIGHTS TO BEHOLD AT THE STORE EVENT
THE STORE EVENT SHOCKS ABUJA RESIDENTS
It has become an undisputed fact that Abuja residents hardly ever get satisfied with events considering the high and unsatisfied taste of individual event patrons. This general notion was waved aside during The Store event held in the FCT on the 17th -18th June, 2011.
THE STORE which was put together by Graffiti Concepts, one of the leading global entities in entertainment and business directed the thoughts of many residents of the capital territory towards the realization that there are events and there is an event.
The two day event which took place at the Blue Velvet Marquee in City Park kept many mouths ajar with awe inspiring concepts that came up in different forms and styles.
As usual, Abuja people did not hesitate to have a feel of the event, at least to put up a very objective criticism, but most of the people that our correspondents interacted with had little comments that fell on the negative side as the event was not just considered a success but a bomb.
The event brought different vendors within the Federal Capital territory together to interact with their customers and to exhibit their products. It was the first time since the history of the FCT that business men and women will come under the same umbrella in a competitive business environment that is entertainment based.
THE STORE event which ran successfully for two days recorded over one thousands audience and vendors. The fashion display on the beautiful and catchy run way almost stole the event as people gathered around the run-way to have a glimpse of the different designs and hair-styles paraded. The memorable pictures and color that defined the event through the kiddies’ activities was another sight to behold. Mean while the presence of great entertainment and media personalities at the event gave the event the desired international and professional aesthetics that had never been seen in the FCT before.
While speaking at the event, some of the participants had affirmed that the event was worth attending and called on Graffiti Concepts to ensure that the event comes up every fortnight. Reacting to their demands, the CEO of Graffiti Concepts, Miss Chioma Ononiwu had expressed great happiness over such assertion and demands, but insisted that the company will take its time to organize a better and memorable event next time. She promised a total package when next the event holds in October. She also confirmed her intention to hold another Event tagged Kiddies and teen event that has already been scheduled for August, 2011.
